David Alejandro Garcia the rejuvenator to an old family trade. He was the first generation in his family line to born outside of Texas.
He grew up in the south side of Chicago but after the events of
9/11 he left to enter the United States Marine Corps at MCRD.
Station in Camp Pendleton, CA he served Honorably until 2006.
He then traveled north a few hours to Los Angeles where he became a commercial diver and then earned a job topside as one of the Superintendents to a private stevedore firm at the ports of Los Angeles.
There he learned about supply chain management, logistics, and
global relationships to eventually have the skill set needed to
start The Syndgar Trading Co.
The biggest turning point his life in his words:
When I lost my corporate job. I was 34 but closer to 35 possessed an MBA and various business certifications. I was too old and too educated to start at the bottom and not well known to be back in the top layers.
Even the Air Force rejected my interest in Officer Candidate School as I would have been 35 during training. I felt that if I did not start my own business that I would fail in life, sink or swim.
