Johnny Rock is an actor known for roles in the TV series"Have and Have Nots", Movies The Expendables, I love you Philip Morris, and the Disaster movie.
Johnny was born in Jacksonville Florida. He grew up in New Orleans La where he became a stand up comedian at the age of 18 years old.
In 1984 he was a finalist in Showtimes "Funniest Person in America" competition. In 1988 he began working in radio (KONO AM-FM) while living in San Antonio, TX where he also owned and operated an Elvis museum.
In 2005 he returned to New Orleans and began his acting career.
Johnny Rock is also a public speaker and advocate for both children and adult survivors of childhood abuse. He has recently been named the Louisiana Ambassador for The National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse (NAASCA.ORG)
Johnny shares his story of emotional, mental, physical and sexual abuse as a child.
Johnny explains how that abuse effected his life and his ability to be a father.
Johnny shares his story openly in regards to failed relationships, addiction and even jail time.
Today Johnny is a warrior in the fight against child abuse and has recently been named the Louisiana Ambassador for The National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse.
